They boys exchanged messages and photos throughout the year in English and Italian. Our 6th class had 10 weeks introduction to Italian in 2025/26 through the Say Yes to Languages programme and put their learning to great use.
In May 2026 a group of 10 boys from Ms O’ Brien’s 6th class went on an Erasmus mobility to Florence, Italy.
We had an opportunity to visit our partner school Istituto Comprensivo Statale ‘Claudio Puddu’ Prato in Prato and meet up with them in Viareggio for a day of outdoor fun in the water and of course a soccer match Irlanda v Italia !
They boys had an opportunity to soak up the art and culture in Florence on foot and on the water!
