Cor Fhéile

At Beaumont Boys’ School, participation in Cór Fhéile is a valued and exciting part of our school’s musical and cultural life. Cór Fhéile is a celebration of choral singing through the Irish language, bringing schools together to perform, share music, and promote Gaeilge in a vibrant and meaningful way.

Each year, pupils work collaboratively to learn Irish songs, develop their vocal skills, and build confidence performing as part of a choir. Preparation for Cór Fhéile encourages teamwork, commitment, and a strong sense of pride in both musical achievement and Irish culture. The experience of performing alongside other schools creates a powerful sense of community and shared celebration.

Taking part in Cór Fhéile supports our wider commitment to the arts and to Irish language learning in an engaging, enjoyable, and memorable way. It provides pupils with the opportunity to experience live performance, represent their school, and develop a lasting appreciation for music and Gaeilge—skills and memories that stay with them long after the final note is sung.
