Scally’s Supervalu presented the school with supply of footballs in recent weeks. These came in time for Football training sessions much to the delight of the boys.

Beaumont qualified for the A championship final with a comprehensive win over our football conquerors Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Carrigaline at a sunny Church Road.
The game was won in a blitzing opening 10 minute spell with quick fire goals from Ryan Sweeney and Jack Murphy setting the tone. There was no let up as a fine variety of scores from various angles allied with outstanding performances all over the field ensured a meeting with Carrigtwohill NS in CIT grounds on Monday May 22nd at 11 a.m.
Congratulations to all of the panel and a big thank you to all in The Rockies for the use of their fantastic facilities. Well done also to our opponents in Carrigaline for reaching the latter stages of the competition.

Beaumont 5-04 Frankfield 2-04
Beaumont topped their group with an impressive win over Scoil Nioclás. After a jittery first five minutes, the Blackrock boys settled with some influential play from Fionnan Leahy and Oliver McAdoo at midfield.
Jack Murphy at corner forward supplied 4-01 in a man of the match performance and even though the Grange outfit threatened a comeback in the 2nd half, Jack O’Riordan, Joe Dennehy, William Haugh and Tom Harrington amongst others ensured a semi final clash with old foes Carrigaline Boys N. S. next Thursday 11th May at 1 p. m. in Church Road.

Beaumont Boys 6-05 Douglas 1-01
Beaumont overcame near neighbours St. Columba’s BNS, Douglas in an entertaining Sciath na Scol game in Douglas GAA grounds.
A cagey start to proceedings was enlivened by a goal from top scorer Ryan Sweeney and some good work from Jack Murphy, Niall Allen and Fionnan Leahy as well as a super save from goalie Eoin Coughlan ensured a healthy half time lead.
However, it was the thrilling play of Sweeney and Cathal Heffernan along with fantastic scores from Ross Browne and Mark O’Connell that sealed the win some time before the final whistle.
After 3 games, Beaumont and Scoil Nioclas top the table with both on 6 points. They play next Tuesday at 1.30 pm in Douglas in a winner takes all match.

Beaumont 7-07 Rathpeacon 1-02
A brace of goals each from Ronan McAuliffe, Eoin Browne and Joe Dennehy set up a good win and performance from our hurlers at Church Rd grounds.
In what was an unusually bitterly cold April afternoon, there were some good displays from all on show, with special mentions for Oliver McAdoo, Lee O’Sullivan, Tom Harrington and Jack O’Riordan.
Beaumont 4-04 GS Uí Ríordáin 1-05
Beaumont got their campaign off to a winning start in Ballincollig with a hard fought win on an astro-turf pitch. Space was at a premium in the early stages but an opportunistic goal from captain Ryan Sweeney settled the nerves.
Some fine fielding from Lee O’Sullivan and Cathal Heffernan and the industrious work of Fionnán Leahy and Ross Browne ensured a healthy half time lead that the Blackrock boys never surrendered.
A great start to hopefully a long and fruitful campaign.
