At Beaumont Boys’ School, the Arts Council plays a central role in celebrating and developing creativity across the school community. Elected each year from our student body, the Arts Council gives pupils a genuine voice in shaping the artistic life of the school and encourages leadership, collaboration, and creative thinking.
The Arts Council is responsible for planning and supporting a wide range of art activities throughout the year. This includes music, visual art, drama, performances, and special creative events that allow pupils to explore different forms of expression and showcase their talents. Working closely with staff, the council helps to generate ideas, organise activities, and promote participation across all class levels.
Importantly, the Arts Council also helps to set out the artistic pathway for the school each year. By contributing to an overall plan for the arts, pupils help ensure that creativity is valued, visible, and embedded in everyday school life. Through this process, the Arts Council fosters confidence, imagination, and a strong sense of pride in the creative achievements of our school community.
